This machine tool is a three-axis CNC gun-drilling machine, primarily used for machining cylindrical holes via the external chip evacuation (gun-drilling) method. It is a deep-hole machining device in which the cutting tool and tool holder both rotate and feed simultaneously, enabling high precision and excellent surface finish to be achieved in a single drilling pass.

This machine tool is a three-axis CNC gun-drilling center, primarily used for machining cylindrical holes via the external chip evacuation (gun-drilling) method. It is a deep-hole machining device in which the cutting tool and tool holder both rotate and feed simultaneously, enabling high precision and excellent surface finish to be achieved in a single drilling pass. In addition to through-holes, it can also machine stepped holes, blind holes, tapered holes, semi-circular holes, interrupted holes, and holes in laminated workpieces.
The worktable’s horizontal movement, the crossbeam’s vertical movement, and the tool feed are all driven by servo systems that provide stepless speed regulation; the spindle also features stepless speed control, ensuring precise and reliable motion. Workpiece clamping is accomplished using a hydraulic clamping device, which is controlled by a dedicated hydraulic power unit. This machine tool represents the optimal choice among today’s metal-cutting machines for deep-hole workpieces and is widely used for precision shallow-hole machining as well as the production of special-shaped holes.
The machine tool bed is fabricated from high-quality cast iron, ensuring exceptional rigidity. It employs high-precision ball linear guides and ball screws for drive, delivering excellent accuracy retention. All operations are digitally controlled and displayed, enabling safe, quick, and stable workpiece clamping and machine operation. This equipment is primarily used for deep-hole machining of large diameters in industries such as mold making, automotive, defense, aerospace, and mining machinery.
