This series of deep-hole drilling and boring machines is a specialized machine tool for machining cylindrical deep-hole parts, suitable for drilling, boring, and roll-pressing operations on such workpieces. During drilling, an internal chip evacuation system (BTA method) is employed: lubricant is delivered via the oil distributor into the cutting zone, and chips are conveyed through the interior of the drill rod to the chip collection hopper at the rear of the machine bed.

This series of deep-hole drilling and boring machines is a specialized machine tool for machining cylindrical deep-hole parts, suitable for drilling, boring, and roll-pressing operations on such workpieces. During drilling, an internal chip-removal system (BTA method) is employed: lubricant is delivered via the nozzle into the cutting zone, carrying the chips through the interior of the drill rod to a chip-collection hopper at the rear of the machine bed. For boring and roll-pressing, lubricant is likewise supplied through the nozzle into the cutting zone, with chips being expelled forward along the tool’s axis. When performing combined boring and roll-pressing operations, either conventional boring-and-roll-pressing tools or high-efficiency, automatically expanding-and-contracting scraper-and-polishing tools can be used, enabling high-speed, high-efficiency machining of hydraulic cylinders. 
The bed guideways of this series of deep-hole drilling and boring machines are double-rectangular guideways that have undergone quenching treatment, providing excellent wear resistance. Protective guards are installed at the center and on the outer sides of the bed guideways, ensuring superior aesthetic protection and preventing oil leakage. The feed and tool-holding mechanisms are driven by servo motors, with gear–rack or ball-screw drives, offering high rigidity and convenient control. The feed system employs AC servo motors to ensure the safety of the machine tool, cutting tools, and workpieces. The main spindle motor is a variable-frequency drive motor with stepless speed regulation, enhancing adaptability.
